Vietnamese children have won high prizes at international painting contests.
13 year old boy Pham Son Tung from the Hai Duong Children’s House and 16 year old girl Nguyen Thi Phuong from the Vietnam – Germany Children’s House of Nghe An province won gold medals with their paintings named ‘School for Disabled Children’ and ‘Fishing Basket’ respectively at the third Bangladesh international painting contest.
Also at the same competition which had the entry of 3,000 paintings, five year old boy Le Nguyen from Khanh Hoa Children’s House won silver prize for his painting ‘My Friend.’
At the 12th international children’s painting contest in Finland which saw the competition of 5,000 paintings, two 12 year old girls from Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Quynh Khanh An and Truong Anh Tuyet won medals for their paintings ‘Buffalo Fighting Festival’ and ‘Flying Kite on the Homeland’s Field.’
