Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem has requested the Ministry of Culture and Information to combine with related ministries and sectors to inspect the use and management of the Internet throughout the country.
The Deputy Prime Minister also required the ministry to suggest urgent as well as long-term measures to ensure the provision of healthy information on the Internet and to raise the effectiveness of State management in this area.
He also requested the Ministry of Post and Telematics issue regulations on controlling public Internet agents in August 2004.
