Vietnam and Singapore will cooperate on IT development for e- governance and to facilitate cooperation in telecommunications and Internet.
A cooperative programme has been devised to cover economics, telecommunications and IT between the two countries.
Minister of Post and Telematics Do Trung Ta recently joined a Government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to Singapore.
During this visit, Mr Ta met with Singaporean counterpart Lee Boon Yang and representatives of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA Singapore).
Accordingly, they will share experiences in establishing mechanisms, policies and laws related to IT and telecommunications.
