The People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province has co-operated with the Southern Vocational Training School, to provide vocational training for 360 ethnic minority students.
Of 360 students, 87 students are being trained to become official staff for communes and hamlets in the province, the other 273 students are learning vocational skills.
All of these students are staying at the school.
The students come from such ethnic minorities as Khome, K’Ho, Chau Ma, Tay, Nung, Hoa and Muong, from seven districts of Dong Nai province.
The school will co-operate with the provincial Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Department to recruit 450 ethnic minority students for its 2004-05 school year.
