Vietnam, EC ties build on co-operation

The framework agreement on co-operation between Vietnam and the European Commission (EC) was signed in July, 1995. The agreement was a legal foundation for Vietnam-EC co-operation, with the EC as a regional organisation. It also provided a legal foundation for co-operation between Vietnam and European Union (EU) member countries.
