Vietnam has huge potential in rice exports

Once a country constantly facing food shortages, Vietnam has become one of the world's leading rice exporters. Last year, its exports made up 15.3% of the world's total and the rate is forecast to increase this year.

Footwear exports bounce back

Footwear exports signalled a recovery in July to reap US $300 million in revenue, up 20% over the same period last year, reported the Ministry of Trade.

Positive signs of growth in seafood exports

The Ministry of Fisheries reviewed the implementation of its tasks in the first six months of this year, and worked out measures to fulfil this year’s target of earning US$2.5 billion from exports, at a meeting in Hanoi on Saturday.
