PM approves action programme for southern key economic regions' development

Prime Minister Phan Van Khai has approved an action programme for the implementation of the Politburo's resolution on socio- economic development and defence and security assurance in the southeastern and southern key economic region until 2010 and orientations for 2020.

Trade Ministry develops export strategy in 2006-2010 period

According to Deputy Minister of Trade Luong Van Tu, the country aims to obtain high and sustainable export growth, strengthen production and export of highly competitive products, increase processed and manufactured products and other products of hi- tech value, and reduce export proportions of raw products.
