VUSTA calls support for Agent Orange victims

The Vietnam Union of Scientific and Technological Associations (VUSTA) has voiced strong support for the lawsuit filed by the Vietnam Society of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims and individuals to ask for the US chemical companies to compensate the victims.


Disabled to receive expert medical care

More people living with disabilities will be able to receive treatment after 29 Vietnamese medical students finish the third German-funded training course to become orthopaedic technicians this month.


US surgeons start third mission to help disabled kids, amputees

"We have returned to Viet Nam to operate on more disabled children and amputees, helping to relieve some of their pain and suffering," said Dr Pierce Scranton, an orthopaedic surgeon.
