Prime Minister Phan Van Khai has signed Decision 145/2006/QD- TTg on building an international standard university in Vietnam.
19 publicly-funded universities to become private
Nineteen publicly-funded universities and colleges are permitted to transition into private funding under a recent decision by the Prime Minister.
Allowed borrowing money for study expenditures
On May 18, Prime Minister Phan Van Khai the signed the decision No 107/2006/QĐ- TTg on credit for pupils and students in order to help students and pupils who have difficulty in finance to follow Universities, colleges and vocational schools.
