Viet Nam's garment and textiles export revenues reached 3.96 billion USD in the first 11 months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 18.7 percent.

Viet Nam's garment and textiles export revenues reached 3.96 billion USD in the first 11 months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 18.7 percent. Revenues from the sector in November were registered at 300 million USD or a 1.7 percent rise compared to October. The Trade Ministry also predicted that the sector will earn around 4.2 billion USD from exports this year. If so the garment and textile industry will be the country's second biggest hard currency earner after crude oil. During the reviewed period, the country's coal export volume, estimated at around 850,000 tonnes in November, reached nearly 9.82 million tonnes worth 289 million USD. The Investment and Planning Ministry said the 11-month coal export volume has already surpassed the yearly plan by 3.8 million tonnes
