This is 526% growth compared to the amount of foreign invested capital it got in the same period of 2003.
Two of the biggest projects are in mobile phone networks and a high rise building.
The city has improved its investment licensing procedures and offered more incentives to foreign investors. It has organized a number of investment promotion conferences in Switzerland, Thailand, Spain, China, Hungary and Italy.
