The whale worshipping festival is being held at the Cua Dai Beach and a festival of the Chinese community in Hoi An is being held at Phuc Kien club house, 46 Tran Phu street.

Apart from the main rituals, the festive part features many exciting activities to draw tourists to the town.

The Luc Tanh festival officially takes place on lunar February 16 but many people often offer incenses a day before.

The Luc Tanh festival ends with a party right the yard of the club house attended by about 500 guests. At the party, Fujian fried noodle is served..

This is an opportunity for Chinese people from many provinces in Vietnam, including Binh Dinh, Quang Ngai and Thua Thien Hue, to meet one another.

During these days, tourists from far and near converge in crowds on streets, particularly from Whale Pagoda to Le Loi – Tran Phu crossroad. Food speciality is sold along the Tran Phu Street.

In front of Gieng Cho (Market Well), a Bai Choi game is also held to attract a large number of players and viewers.
