US doctors provide free surgery to children and patients
Doctors on the USNS Mercy hospital ship of the US will perform surgery for 88 children with cleft lips and cleft palates in central Khanh Hoa province and its neighbouring localities.
Free mouth surgery for 120 children
More than 120 children with cleft lips and cleft palates will receive free operations thanks to a six-day charity programme organised by Operation Smile Vietnam (OSV) which began on June 6.
Free operations allow children to smile
Operation Smile has helped local dentists to provide free operations for 60 children with harelips and cleft palates from central Thanh Hoa province on May 12.
