A business start-up programme has recently been launched in Hanoi with the participation of over 400 students from local economic universities and colleges.
Outstandingly, the organising board introduced three business
projects submitted by students from the National Economics University.
This helps students access good business ideas and make up and
realise their own initiatives. On the other hand, authors of three
selected projects also have the opportunity to perfect their projects
and improve their abilities following remarks given by guests to the
exchange meeting.
Mr Pham Gia Tuc, Vice President and General Secretary of the
Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the head of the
Organising Board, said: Great success may come from small projects.
Small projects must be believed to create great success. Hence,
students do not hesitate to start up business from small projects. He
added that VCCI has signed agreements with credit institutions and
banks to finance new business start-up projects. Besides, VCCI can
introduce students to suitable companies which may need their
initiatives.
The programme is organised by the Business Forum Newspaper under
the umbrella of VCCI, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ho Chi Minh
Communist Youth Union, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social
Affairs, the Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of Education
and Training, aiming to create the opportunity for young people and
students nationwide to promote their initiatives and sense of
self-reliance and apply their knowledge to new practical projects.
